Product Details

The Steve Stevens Signature Ascender Platinum offers a sleek, performance-driven design that blends cutting-edge innovation with bold, versatile sound. Created in collaboration with legendary guitarist Steve Stevens, the Platinum delivers exceptional tone, modern aesthetics, and features tailored for the discerning musician.

At its core are Bare Knuckle Ray Gun pickups, engineered to produce dynamic tones that respond with precision and clarity to your playing style. From warm, clean tones to powerful high-gain crunch, the Platinum adapts effortlessly to any genre or musical context. Coil-splitting functionality adds even greater versatility, allowing players to seamlessly switch between single-coil brightness and humbucker depth.

The LED selector switch lights up in red, green, or blue to reflect the active pickup configuration. Bezel tuners provide precise tuning adjustments, while master tone and volume controls with pull-pot splits provide complete control. A Ray Gun-engraved pickguard, dot inlays, and high-gloss finish complete the design.

Available in Jet Black Gloss and Olympic White Gloss, the Platinum is built for stage, studio, and travel without compromising tone or playability.

The Inspiration

Meet Steve Stevens

Legendary guitarist, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and the creative force behind Billy Idol's iconic sound. Steve Stevens has spent decades touring the world, demanding instruments that perform flawlessly under pressure — and that can keep up with his relentless travel schedule.

"The Ascender is the first guitar I've played that doesn't make me choose between convenience and tone. It folds, it travels, and it sounds incredible every single time."
