Drexel "Boots" Anderson was inspired by vocalist/guitarist Freddie Stone from Sly and The Family Stone. He was the catalyst that inspired Boots to teach himself guitar. Over the years, Boots played Rhythm guitar with various local bands playing a wide variety of music. Boots first professional gig was opening on tour for the band BT Express as guitarist for vocal group Truly Yours. What followed was touring with MCA Boy Band recording artist New Edition as Guitarist/MD. Following That a stint with Capital records Boy Band 4 by Four, in which he was also MD/Guitarist. Boots has performed or shared the stage with artists Luther Vandross, Run DMC, Salt & Peppa, Bobby Brown, GQ, Stephanie Mills, Isley Brothers and many more, playing rhythm guitar and singing backup vocals. Boots is currently the guitarist for International recording Artist Atlantic Starr and MD/guitarist for a very popular Van Morrison tribute band (Tupelo Honey), Boots is also the Music Minister for a NJ Church.
